Plan and Limits
Your plan sets how much the tenant holds, how fast it can be called, and which features it includes. Settings → Plan in the console shows your plan and every limit that applies to you.
What the Plan Tab Shows
| Section | Field | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Plan | Tier | Your plan |
| Environment | Whether the tenant is for test or production | |
| Region | Where the tenant's data lives | |
| Status | Whether the tenant is up | |
| Rate limits | Query rate, query burst | How many SKUs per second you can price, and how many at once after a quiet spell |
| Ingest rate, ingest burst | How many items per second you can write, and how many at once | |
| Max items per request | The most SKUs one query, or items one batch, may hold; 50,000 unless your plan says otherwise | |
| Quotas | Articles, pricelists, prices | The most the tenant can hold of each. Unlimited when your plan sets none |
How the rate limits work, and what to do at one: Rate Limits.
At a Limit
| What happens | Answer | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Requests faster than your rate | 429 with Retry-After | Wait and retry; spread the load |
| One request larger than allowed | 413 | Split the request |
| A quota is full | 422; nothing is written | Delete what you no longer need, or move to a larger plan |
Features That Depend on the Plan
| Feature | What the plan decides | Setting you switch it on with |
|---|---|---|
| Webhooks | Whether changes can be delivered to webhooks | change.events.enabled |
| Change log | How many changes the change log holds | None: always on |
| History retention | Whether you can limit price history, and the most you can keep | retention.enabled, retention.max.versions, retention.history.ms |
A setting your plan does not include shows as unavailable under Settings → Configuration, and the API refuses it with 403. See Settings.
