AI Assistants (MCP)
Your tenant has a Model Context Protocol server, so an AI assistant such as Claude can read this documentation, look up your prices and data, and make changes for you, through the same API your integrations use.
Connecting
The server's address is
https://YOUR_TENANT.quantaprice.com/mcp
Add it as a remote MCP server (HTTP) in your assistant. In Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http quantaprice https://YOUR_TENANT.quantaprice.com/mcp
The first time it connects, the assistant opens a browser window where you sign in to the tenant as you do to the console. The assistant then acts as you, with your access: no API key is involved.
What the Assistant Can Do
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
searchDocs, getDoc | Search and read this documentation |
getOpenApiSpec | Read the API reference, to see what it can call |
callApi | Call any API endpoint on your tenant |
Every page of this documentation is also available to it as an MCP resource.
With callApi, the assistant can answer questions such as "what does customer ACME pay for the office chair, and why?" or "which pricelists inherit from base-sek?", and it can write: create pricelists, change rules, load prices. Calls count against your rate limits like any other.
The assistant can change and delete data with your access. Review what it proposes to write before you let it, and try it on a test tenant first.
